travel asia vietnam da nang around the city architecture
In our travel around the city of Da Nang, like outher large cities in Vietnam, there was a large discrepency between modern new construction and the average buildings.
I find I didn't get any good photos of many of the "modern" construction downtown, but I did shoot a cross-section of homes and new elaborate tourist structures.
We saw beautiful new high rise apartments and proposed housing developments next to people living in plywood and scrap houses.
Most of the "nice" livable homes were the tall narrow ones attached to family businesses fronting on the highway.
